What is Massage therapy?

Massage therapy uses a hands-on-technique to manipulate the soft tissue including the muscles, tendons, connective tissue, ligaments and joints to promote healing. It is a regulated health profession in Ontario.

At Motion Fit Rehab and Wellness, our Registered Massage Therapists are licensed with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and they have extensive training and experience. They can assist you in alleviating common discomfort, aches, and pains due to everyday stresses stemming from your occupation, overuse injuries and chronic pain conditions. Our massage therapy services can also provide whole body relaxation eliminating any tension and stress from the body.

When to Seek Massage therapy?

Massage therapy can be used as a complementary treatment modality to a recovery program, as a health maintenance plan, and a preventative care program for reducing or relieving pain, improving circulation, reducing muscular tension, increasing joint mobility, and boost lymphatic drainage.
