Qualifications & Certifications 

Jerrick is a highly experienced physiotherapist with a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from D’Youville College in New York and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from the University of Waterloo. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (DipManipPT) and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). FCAMPT is an international recognition conferred to those who have acquired advanced skills in assessment and physiotherapy treatment of orthopedic conditions, helping patients to heal faster and stay healthy.

Jerrick regularly participates in progressive continuing education. He has a special interest in craniofacial, TMJ and foot & ankle conditions. He is also a DonJoy trained custom knee brace fitter.

Approach to Treatment

Jerrick is a manual therapy-based practitioner. He collaborates with the patient and uses the whole-body functional approach to identify the root cause of any problem. He then treats it using different techniques including mobilization and manipulation of joints, nerves & soft tissues, therapeutic exercise, taping, acupuncture, dry needling, custom orthotics and bracing. Jerrick wants his patients to extract most out of their physical therapy sessions and achieve their individual wellness goals.

On the personal front, Jerrick enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, running, playing basketball, and table tennis with his family. He also enjoyed his time as a personal trainer and as a volunteer therapist with Skate Canada.
