The fight against COVID-19 is not over yet and our focus is keeping everyone healthy. Below are steps we’re taking to ensure you and our staff remain safe.
1) Enhanced screening for patients and staff
– COVID-19 screening will be performed and documented at the time of booking and upon arrival at the clinic for each appointment.
2) Patients and staff will need to wear a face mask in the clinic
– We request patients to bring your own masks. If you do not have access to masks, masks are available for sale for $2 and profits will be donated to a local Food Bank.
3) Frequent hand wash with soap or hand sanitizing
– All patients and staff will be required to use hand sanitizer or wash hands with soap upon arrival at the clinic and before leaving the clinic (in addition to usual hand washing between patients).
4) Appointments will be booked with at least a 15-minute break/buffer period between appointments to allow proper disinfecting of touched areas.
5) To promote proper physical distancing within the clinic. We ask patients to arrive no earlier than their appointment time (or no more than 5 minutes prior if paperwork needs to be completed) and to leave right after checking out with reception after their appointment.
6) Practitioners will aim to provide treatment within the allotted appointment time only to promote distancing within the clinic.
7) Any touched areas in the clinic (e.g. door handles/knobs and reception desk) will be disinfected frequently between patients.
8) For washroom facility, there will be disinfecting wipes or disinfectant spray bottle solution available in the washroom for each user to please wipe down areas touched after each use.
9) We will discourage cash payments and prefer contactless credit/debit card payment.
10) We will continue to encourage the use of Virtual Care Sessions if patients are assessed to be appropriate and can benefit from them.
Virtual Care Sessions (also known as Telehealth, Telerehabilitation or Video Treatments) will continue to be an option with our Physiotherapist (Jerrick Yao), Chiropractor (Dr. Marc Di Nardo) and Dietitian (Andy De Santis).

Virtual Care is the delivery of our services to patients off-site over the phone or via the internet using a computer or mobile device. With current need for Physical Distancing, it can be an appropriate option for those needing physiotherapy or diet and nutrition advice.
We can:
- answer your questions
- provide a Physiotherapy or Dietetic consult
- prepare and progress your treatment plan
- prescribe, modify or progress home exercises
- provide body mechanics and home office ergonomic assessments
- provide individualized patient education and advice
We cannot:
- provide manual therapy
- perform acupuncture or dry needling or use therapeutic devices
Provide an emergency contact person to your practitioner should the need arise during your session
Have a safe and appropriate amount of space to move around and do exercise
Have an alternate method of communication in case of a disconnection

Other insurance companies are currently investigating this eligibility and we will update you as it becomes available.
To ensure accuracy, please verify with your insurance company first to see if your plan covers Virtual Care (aka Telerehabilitation or Telehealth) Physiotherapy.
Yes, but direct billing option depends on each individual plan and typically remains the same as with treatments provided in-clinic.
Virtual Care session invoices will be provided and will include the same information as an in-clinic session invoice: Name, Date of birth, Address, Date of appointment, Type and Duration of appointment, and Practiotioner name and license/registration number.
Bookings can be done through our online portal https://motionfitrehab.com/appointments. Payments can be made online at the time of booking or via bank etransfers to our clinic email <info@motionfitrehab.com>.
Please note that we maintain a 24 hour cancellation policy.
You will receive an email confirmation of the appointment (shortly after you book it) that includes a link to join your Virtual Care session. You will also receive an email reminder one day before your Virtual Care session appointment date. If you don’t receive the appointment confirmation email on the same day you booked it, please contact the clinic as soon as possible.
